I just have to say that working with Robby and his crew was by far the least stressful home renovation project I have ever been a part of. I can't speak highly enough about the prompt, friendly service that Robby provided us before, during and after the completion of our new deck. Whether it was last minute phone calls or a slight change in design that we requested almost at the last day, Robby was ever accommodating and made sure that we were completely happy with the project before going forward.

And getting down to brass tacks, let me also say that we were thrilled with the work that Robby and his crew did. Our deck is amazing and was built when Robby said it would be built and they did a wonderful job of cleaning up the area when they were finished. And while I haven't needed him yet, Robby told me that if for some reason a board became warped or I had any other issues come up with the deck to just let him know and he would take care of it. After what I have seen from them with my own eyes I have no doubts that Robby would just do that.

I have worked with contractors from Rhode Island to California, and I can say with complete confidence that there were none finer than Robby and his company. I needed a room addition and contacted a few contractors for an estimate. Although all gave me what I required, Robby spent a great deal of time with me and came up with numerous suggestions on how to work the project. He spent time getting to know my preferences to ensure I would be entirely happy with my addition. I must admit that I always come up with additional questions no matter the plans, but Robby always responded within 24 hours with options that would work for me. Towards the end of the project, I had a significant change which Robby put into the project and still completed the work on time. The room was built for one of my children, but if I could, I would claim it for my own use because it turned out so nice.
During the project, and something that I had already suspected, we discussed the sagging both in the foundation and fencing. Robby provided a good estimate, and I am happy to say, the house feels more secure and the numerous squeaks that were part of walking around have now vanished. My fence is straight and secure.
His crew are professionals. I have watched many a worker and you learn to tell who cares about completing work with pride and who is there for a paycheck. If you want an “above the par” job then you want to hire TREC Construction because his employees are professionals who show their skills with every project they complete.

The Parks

Our project was putting in an inground pool, removing the old deck and putting in a new deck. The challenge was in connecting the house to the pool as there was quite a bit elevation changes. We interviewed 5 construction companies in Lexington to build the deck and Robby by FAR rose to the top. His initial ideas,professional opinions, respect, and timeliness were extremely admirable. Throughout the process he was wonderful in providing many solutions to issues that came up along the way. He was extremely creative in his ideas. He and his crew were always on time. He was easy to reach by email or phone. He was so understanding when we changed our mind and he had to rip out a part (half a days work). I could go on and on, but suffice it to say the end product is absolutely wonderful! We have had many people comment on how beautiful the deck is(we used Timbertech Composite) and how the house and the pool perfectly tie together . A friend who is a home inspector said this is one of the soundest decks i have ever seen. I have recommended Robby and Trec Construction to several people in the past few months with great confidence. I would recommend him now to anyone for any project(he has even done more work for us since the deck and again was great!) His price is very fair and is work ethic, respect, and professional knowledge is to us the best in town!

I am very satisfied with the new patio that TREC built for my home. The end result is quite impressive, and I believe that Robby will be posting a photo on the website. What a photo alone will not convey, however, is the highly professional manner in which TREC performed the work. Robby was readily accessible by e-mail, allowing us to quickly exchange questions and answers both before and during the construction. Robby always enumerated my options and offered his professional opinions about which options he considered best, but he never pressured my decision-making. I had the best experience with Trec Construction. I had a deck removed, an all new Trex covered porch added, two retaining walls, a french drain and landscaping done. Robby was very patient with my indecisiveness!! He gave me honest and well thought out advise through the entire project.
